Information Processes:
Collecting:
• Opinions of the teachers and students on the effective use of laptops instead of textbooks
• Collecting information on computer and internet usage habits
• Collection of data from the survey
Organising:
• Structuring the survey methodically to follow a structural and easily understandable questions – this will also help the analysis of the information
• Organising the questions of one survey to match the questions of the other to receive a better understanding of the opinions of the participants – to make an effective comparison between to the 2 groups that are interviewed.
• Organising finalised data into excel spreadsheet.
Analysis:
• Analysing the responses made by individuals
• Analysing the data from the responses in excel to make trends and patterns
• Creating a variety of graphs based on analysis to determine the trends and patterns
• Deciphering the information provided from both survey responses
• Google Docs – creating summary responses
• Determining what graphs are to be used for which type of data presented.
Storing and Retrieving:
• Storing the responses to create summaries
• Receiving the data of responses from each individual who completes the survey
Transmitting:
• Connecting the user to the participant through the use of the internet network.
• Transmitting the survey to the responders.
Processing:
• Publishing the survey
• Implementing different options for the survey responses
• Converting the data of responses into an excel document and downloading it – may change formats of some of its content when downloading
• Manipulating and changing data when organising and rearranging data for analysing responses.
• Conversion of data into graphs and charts.
Display:
• Presentation of the survey on the screen of a laptop or PC screen
• Displaying the content of the survey
